As every year, Interface Tourism took part some days ago in IFTM Top Resa, with 11 clients. Julie tells us all about it.

Our whole team has worked very hard to organize the numerous activities for our institutional clients (Martinique Island, Quebec, Chile, Jordan, Philippines, Maldives, Madagascar, Montenegro), airlines (LATAM, WOW air) and Amiel Tours DMC.

Some of our permanent clients decided not to attend the fair (for the first time Abu Dhabi & Qatar, and Kenya for several years now), but we have served some destinations specifically for IFTM Top Resa, who requested our support to give a new impulse to their tourism policy. It has been the case for Madagascar who launched its new bran
d and presented its strategy for 2016-2017, Egypt for whom we organized an press event with M. Yehia Rashed, Minister of Tourism, and Montenegro, who doesn’t stop increasing on the French market!

The two airlines we work with for PR services also bet on the fair to highlight their latest news: LATAM had its own booth to present it new unique brand
, and we organized an original and successful street marketing activity for the Icelandic airline WOW air!

In addition to the events for our clients, we also took part in the Forum for Tourism Investments in West Africa, and the Roundtable organized by Tendance Nomad, on a topic that we know extremely well, MICE promotion for destinations.
But participating to a fair never is easy, and technical problems often disrupt the organization! Among some examples for this year; the time to reach Pavilion 7, the confusion of the mapping of the fair, and the disturbing search of an open access to reach 7.1 area to go to conference rooms not very welcoming…

Fortunately, those small concerns didn’t affect our good mood and satisfaction for this positive edition ! (and we recently celebrated this success 🙂 )
