Undertake inventory and product analysis in France and its short-medium term outlook

In collaboration with Horwath HTL office, Interface Tourism conducted a study on behalf of the DGCIS (French General Directorate for Competitiveness, Industry and Services) and Atout France, with the aim to review the receptive offer in France and determine how this offer could leverage French tourism in foreign markets.

What we've achieved

A French product offering analysis was first conducted in order to have a precise knowledge of the sector and variety of issues, either sectorial or microeconomic. The following analysis phase studied the foreign demand, specifically in 4 markets (Russia, India, Brazil, and the United States), to set the market expectations with the receptive offer and understand the conditions of its development.

All the information collected in the different studies conclused with a a strategic plan to propose recommendations. A presentation of the conclusions of this study was made at the National Encounters of Tourism in November 2012.
